- Lead the operational regulatory affairs team for cosmetics and OTC drugs within the LVMH Beauty scope of brands.
- Serve as the primary liaison with governmental agencies in the USA and Canada regarding cosmetics and OTC drug regulations.
- Operationalize new laws and regulations for cosmetics and OTC drugs in the USA and Canada.
- Represent the company on scientific topics at US and Canadian trade associations.
- Identify and implement opportunities in operational regulatory affairs to advance the Beauty business.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Advocacy regulatory team to assess the impact of regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
- Provide leadership on operational questions related to cosmetics and OTC drug regulations.
- Oversee the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory records and KPIs for the USA and Canada.
- Lead and deliver on key projects within timelines and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and mentor team members to enhance regulatory skills and strategic growth.
- Communicate operational impacts of regulations to teams effectively.
- Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
- Minimum of 10 years in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs.
- At least 5 years of people-management experience.
- Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada cosmetic and drug regulations.
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in driving, negotiating, and executing processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations effectively.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for complex regulatory issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Ability to meet internal and governmental deadlines with high accuracy.
A minimum of 10 years in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
The salary range is $160,000.00 - $200,000.00, with flexibility based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
