Parfums Christian Dior Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern

- Contribute to the continuous improvement strategy of the quality control department.
- Optimize the duration and frequency of product inspections, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Analyze time losses in sample flow from production to laboratories and identify waiting time (Muda) to propose improvements.
- Evaluate cost per analysis and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
- Implement Lean Management techniques such as PDCA, 3M, 5S, and Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of implemented actions.
- Educate and engage team members on new processes to ensure sustainable improvements.
- Participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects within the department.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program with a focus on flow management and planning or industrial engineering.
- Previous experience in continuous improvement through internships or co-op programs.
- Strong results-oriented mindset with a focus on performance management based on reliable data.
- Proactive and innovative with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Power BI and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Entry-level, suitable for students seeking a final-year internship with a focus on continuous improvement and flow optimization.
