1. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments of shipments.
2. Follow up on overdue accounts via phone or email.
3. Closely monitor customer trial balances and research chargebacks related to shortages, pricing, discounts, and discrepancies.
4. Contact customers with overdue accounts to collect payments and escalate high-risk accounts to management.
5. Send proofs of delivery for invoices or shipments claimed as non-receipt.
6. Collaborate with departments such as Sales and Customer Management for collection-related inquiries.
7. Prepare reports on credit and collection activities.
8. Monitor chargebacks related to outbound shipping and merchandise expenses.
9. Follow up on EDI-related chargebacks and pursue collection of invalid claims.
10. Interact with Operations, EDI, Customer Management, and Sales to resolve chargeback issues.
11. Seek Sales approval for write-offs or credit issuance before month-end closing.
12. Maintain low balances on unknown claims by obtaining claim copies.
13. Perform chargeback code changes accurately and timely.
14. Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure successful settlement negotiations.
15. Notify management of issues affecting claim balances.
16. Perform additional tasks as required by management.

1. 4-year college degree required.

1. Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.
2. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
3. Ability to multitask effectively.
4. Capability to work independently.

Preferably 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience in the retail industry, though not required for the ideal candidate.

$33.00 - $40.00 per hour, with flexibility based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
