Retail Construction Project Manager

1. Manage construction activities related to retail projects.
2. Ensure corporate processes are applied and completed.
3. Track and ensure on-time completion of all project tasks from initial budget to closeout.
4. Guarantee that brand designs and identity are respected.
5. Ensure construction documents are accurate, achievable, and comply with brand and industry standards.
6. Prepare and manage schedules for architects, vendors, and contractors.
7. Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets.
8. Secure the delivery of material and services.
9. Issue RFPs, compare and level bids, negotiate proposals.
10. Establish and maintain contractor and vendor quality standards.
11. Engage proactive solutions for anticipated obstacles.
12. Accept full responsibility for success or failure in terms of quality and efficiency.
13. Willing to work off hours or days when required by project needs.

1. Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.
2. Minimum 5 years in luxury retail construction project management experience.
3. Experience with luxury level materials, finishes, furnishings, displays, and equipment.
4. Hands-on knowledge of retail development workflow processes.
5. Procurement experience is a plus.

2. Ability to create and manage project budgets.
3. Understanding of building department procedures and requirements in major US cities.
4. Strong negotiation skills for vendor and general contractor agreements.
5. Modern mobile communication skills.
6. Masterful knowledge of retail construction methods and details.
7. Detail-oriented and organized with superior follow-up skills.
8. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
9. Dependable and reliable team player.

Must have a minimum of 5 years in luxury retail construction project management experience.
