- Perform autonomous polishing operations for watch preparation and finishing.
- Ensure surface finishing aligns with client specifications through precise manual polishing.
- Maintain proper positioning and movement of components in contact with abrasives.
- Conduct polishing of watches, including avivage operations before final inspection.
- Retouch satin-finished and polished watches/boxes if scratches are detected.
- Wash watch heads using provided equipment (detergent and steam washing).
- Adhere to scheduled production timelines.
- Complete finishing of production components (cases, backs, bezels, levers, crown guards) including polishing, satin finishing, and microblasting preparation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to define target surface states during machining.
- Collaborate with quality control for validation of initial pieces during pre-series or when uncertainties arise.
- Demonstrate versatility in polishing service parts.
- Observe and maintain the geometry of components.
- Inspect the aesthetic and dimensional compliance of components.
- Monitor abrasive wear and perform replacements as necessary.
- Prepare tooling and materials, anticipating consumable needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including tools and machinery.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and quality control, especially when challenges arise.
- Contribute to process optimization during industrialization phases.
- Possession of a CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or an equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in polishing watch heads, components, and bracelets.
- Meticulous attention to detail and autonomy in task execution.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in French (reading, speaking, writing).
3 to 5 years of experience in watch polishing, including heads, components, and bracelets.
CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or equivalent qualification.
