- Deliver exemplary, discreet client service and personalised consultations for high-net-worth customers in the Isetan Shinjuku boutique.
- Actively drive and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through expert product presentation, upselling and closing techniques.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and a proactive clienteling database to maximise repeat business and VIP engagement.
- Demonstrate technical product knowledge: explain movements, materials, complications and care instructions; coordinate product demonstrations and fittings.
- Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising, stock integrity and housekeeping; perform inventory checks and merchandising resets as required.
- Operate POS and handle transactions accurately; liaise with after-sales service and internal teams to manage repairs, warranties and special requests.
- Participate in ongoing brand and product training, attend store meetings, and implement promotional or seasonal campaigns according to brand guidelines.
- Proven experience in luxury retail or premium watch/jewellery sales; preference for candidates with boutique or department store experience.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and cultivating high-value client relationships.
- Polished interpersonal skills, professional presentation and a service-oriented mindset appropriate to haute horlogerie clientele.
- Fluency in Japanese required; business-level English is advantageous (inferred requirement for Tokyo flagship environment).
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak department-store trading periods.
- Comfort with cash handling, POS operations and basic CRM usage.
