- Perform autonomous preparation and finishing operations for polishing.
- Ensure surface finishing according to client specifications through precise manual polishing.
- Maintain proper positioning, handling, and movement of pieces in contact with abrasives.
- Conduct polishing of watches, including brightening operations before final inspection.
- Retouch satin-finished and polished watches or cases when scratches are detected.
- Wash watch heads using provided equipment, including detergent and steam washing.
- Adhere to planned production cadences.
- Finish production components such as cases, backs, bezels, levers, and crown guards through polishing, satin finishing, and microbead preparation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to define target surface states during machining.
- Collaborate with quality control for validation of initial pieces during pre-series or in case of doubts about series.
- Demonstrate versatility in polishing service parts.
- Observe and respect the geometry of pieces.
- Inspect the aesthetics and dimensional compliance of pieces.
- Monitor abrasive wear and perform changes as needed.
- Prepare tools and materials, anticipating consumable purchase needs.
- Clean workstations, tools, and machines safely.
- Communicate with supervisors and quality control, especially when encountering difficulties.
- Contribute to defining optimal processes during industrialization phases.
- Possession of a CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in polishing watch heads, components, and bracelets.
- Rigorous and autonomous nature.
- Strong team spirit.
- Proficiency in French (reading, speaking, writing).
3 to 5 years of experience in watch polishing, including heads, components, and bracelets.
CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or equivalent qualification.
