Officine Panerai CAD–PLM–CAM Specialist (Creo & Windchill)

1. Act as the internal reference and subject-matter expert for CAD (Creo), PLM (Windchill) and CAM processes across R&D, prototyping and production.
2. Administer and configure Windchill to support product data lifecycle, change control, release processes and BOM management.
3. Develop, maintain and enforce CAD standards, templates and libraries in Creo to ensure design consistency and manufacturability.
4. Support CAM programming and process integration to translate CAD models into accurate machining outputs; collaborate with workshops to optimize toolpaths and machine setups.
5. Provide second- and third-line user support, troubleshooting, and training for engineers and technicians on Creo and Windchill best practices.
6. Lead or contribute to PLM/CAD/CAM-related projects including system upgrades, integrations (PDM/ERP), and automation of repetitive workflows.
7. Ensure data integrity, version control and compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements for watch component design data.
8. Liaise with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, procurement, production) to streamline product development and handover to manufacturing.

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline.
2. Proven hands-on experience administering or acting as a power user for Creo and Windchill in an industrial environment.
3. Solid understanding of CAD/CAM workflows, CNC machining processes, and practical manufacturability for high-precision components.
4. Experience implementing PLM processes (change management, ECO/ECR, BOM structures) and configuring PDM systems.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proven experience in user training and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Several years of professional experience working with CAD and PLM systems, including direct experience with Creo and Windchill; demonstrated involvement in CAM support or close collaboration with manufacturing teams. Experience in precision manufacturing or watchmaking is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
