Moynat Metal Components Developer

- Lead the technical development of metal prototypes through to series production, ensuring aesthetic, functional, and industrial compliance.
- Manage and secure requests from Style and Development teams, analyzing needs, challenging constraints, and proposing adapted solutions.
- Conduct continuous research on material innovations, processes, and finishes.
- Identify and qualify key supplier expertise to support projects and creation phases.
- Explore new materials or technologies to enhance performance, quality, or competitiveness.
- Propose material and design optimizations to improve quality, costs, timelines, and industrial efficiency.
- Challenge supplier technical solutions and identify high-performing or more competitive alternatives.
- Simplify designs to facilitate industrialization and strengthen cost control.
- Define quality strategy in line with product, client, and environmental stakes.
- Update technical specifications and ensure adherence to galvanic standards.
- Supervise non-conformity treatment and corrective action deployment.
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to reducing non-conformities through regular travel.
- Oversee quality in development, analyzing tests and compliance, and securing aesthetic and functional criteria mastery.
- Engineering degree in textiles, leather, chemistry, micromechanics, or materials.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and finishing processes: machining/forming, electroplating, various metals, and surface treatments.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in creating quality processes.
- Proficiency in technical drawing software is advantageous.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Engineering degree in textiles, leather, chemistry, micromechanics, or materials.
