- Lead the technical development of metal components from prototype to series launch, ensuring aesthetic, functional, and industrial conformity.
- Manage and secure requests from Style and Development teams by analyzing needs, challenging constraints, proposing suitable solutions, and ensuring alignment between creative intent and industrial capabilities.
- Conduct continuous research and technological monitoring on material innovations, processes, and finishes.
- Identify and qualify key supplier expertise to support projects and creation phases.
- Explore new materials or technologies to enhance performance, quality, or competitiveness.
- Propose material and design optimizations early in the process to improve quality, costs, timelines, and industrial efficiency.
- Challenge supplier technical solutions and identify high-performance or more competitive alternatives.
- Simplify designs to facilitate industrialization and strengthen cost control.
- Define quality strategy in line with product, client, and environmental stakes.
- Update technical specifications and galvanic range, ensuring compliance.
- Supervise non-conformity management and deployment of corrective actions.
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to reducing non-conformities through regular travel.
- Oversee quality in development by analyzing tests and compliance, leading corrective actions, and securing mastery of aesthetic and functional criteria.
- Engineering degree in textiles, leather, chemistry, micromechanics, or materials.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and finishing processes: machining/forging, electroplating, various metals, and surface treatments.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in creating quality processes.
- Proficiency in technical drawing software is an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Italian is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Engineering degree in relevant fields such as textiles, leather, chemistry, micromechanics, or materials.
