Montblanc Retail Manager

- Define and implement annual sales objectives and strategies for retail boutiques in Japan.
- Act as a brand ambassador, building relationships with VIP clients, landlords, and department stores.
- Collaborate with various departments to manage boutique action plans, events, and activities.
- Oversee retail cost structures, including Opex, Capex, and A&P, to meet budgeted cost levels and net contribution objectives.
- Optimize Montblanc's retail network for brand visibility and market coverage.
- Participate in negotiations with department stores regarding terms and conditions.
- Monitor competitive environment and competitors' activities.
- Set objectives for boutique managers and track their performance monthly and annually.
- Ensure effective implementation of clienteling and CRM activities within the retail network.
- Collaborate with the training department to enhance customer journey and monitor key indicators like NPS scores and mystery shopping results.
- Provide monthly reports to the Montblanc management committee on retail performance and competitive environment.
- Prepare annual budget presentations and monthly boutique managers meetings.
- Assess and develop staff competencies in collaboration with the training department.
- Formulate and implement development plans for subordinates, delegating responsibilities to maximize their capabilities.
- 3-5 years of experience as a retail manager in the retail industry, preferably with a luxury brand.
- Deep understanding of the retail business, fashion, and department store industries.
- Business-level proficiency in English is preferable.
- Ability to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data.
- Effective team player and networker.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-oriented skills.
- Strong sense of integrity.
- Digital acumen.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and customer focus.
- Ability to manage and develop teams.
3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within a luxury brand.
