Montblanc Merchandising Manager

- Orchestrate the assortment planning for all sales channels, including retail, travel retail, and e-commerce.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to determine Open-To-Buy (OTB) and category sales plans.
- Define boutique clusters and select product assortments by category in alignment with HQ merchandising strategy.
- Execute order forecasts, including units of net sales, and manage launching and closing stock within the seasonal buying budget.
- Evaluate product performance across all respects.
- Partner with supply chain/operations to set appropriate opening stocks and model stock for each boutique.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client and boutique needs to inform agile actions.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative product analysis to understand market trends.
- Work closely with visual merchandising to enhance product visibility in boutiques.
- Maintain continuous communication with boutiques and HQ teams for merchandising, distribution, and demand planning.
- Maximize sales revenue by allocating the appropriate product mix to each sales channel.
- Collaborate with retail and visual merchandising teams to generate sales from non-turning products.
- Partner with retail and training teams to provide additional product information beyond HQ training content.
- Review and provide feedback on retail and travel retail selling prices to HQ.
- Correct product master data errors by communicating with HQ category management and ERP system personnel.
- University degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail merchandising and inventory planning, preferably within the luxury industry
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Fluency in English
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building cross-departmental relationships
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Anaplan
- Great attention to detail
A minimum of 10 years in retail merchandising and inventory planning, with a preference for experience in the luxury sector.
University degree
