Montblanc Merchandising Manager

- Orchestrate assortment planning for all sales channels, including retail, travel retail, and e-commerce.
- Determine Open-To-Buy (OTB) in collaboration with the commercial team for category sales plans.
- Define boutique clusters and select product assortments by category in alignment with HQ merchandising strategy.
- Execute order forecasts, including units of net sales, launching, and closing stock within the seasonal buying budget.
- Evaluate product performance across all respects.
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams to set appropriate opening stocks and model stock for each boutique.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client and boutique needs and respond with agility.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative product analysis to understand market trends.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising to enhance product visibility in boutiques.
- Maintain close relationships with boutiques and HQ teams through continuous communication.
- Maximize sales revenue by allocating the proper product mix to each sales channel.
- Collaborate with retail and visual merchandising teams to generate sales from non-turning products.
- Partner with retail and training teams to provide additional product information beyond HQ training content.
- Review and provide feedback on selling prices for retail and travel retail to HQ.
- Correct product master data by communicating with HQ category management and ERP system personnel.
- University degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail merchandising and inventory planning, preferably in the luxury industry
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Fluency in English
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships across diverse departments
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Anaplan
- Great attention to detail
A minimum of 10 years in retail merchandising and inventory planning, with a preference for experience in the luxury sector.
University degree
