Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the assortment planning for all sales channels, including retail, travel retail, and e-commerce.
- Determine Open-To-Buy (OTB) in collaboration with the commercial team for category sales plans.
- Define boutique clusters and select product assortments by category in line with HQ merchandising strategy and boutique profiles.
- Execute order forecasts, including units of net sales, launching, and closing stock within the seasonal buying budget.
- Evaluate product performances in all respects.
- Partner with supply chain/operations team to set the right level of opening stocks and model stock for each boutique in retail channels.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ and boutiques’ needs and be agile in taking actions.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative product analysis of current business to understand market trends.
- Work closely with visual merchandising to enhance product visibility in boutiques.
- Maintain close relationships with boutiques and merchandising, distribution/demand planning team in HQ through continuous communications.
- Maximize sales revenue by allocating the proper product mix to each sales channel in line with marketing strategy and assortment principles.
- Collaborate with retail and visual merchandising teams to generate sales revenue from non-turning products.
- Partner with retail/training team to provide additional product information beyond HQ training contents.
- Review selling prices for retail and travel retail, providing feedback to HQ for any concerns.
- Correct product master data by communicating with HQ category management team and ERP system personnel.
Qualifications
- University degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail merchandising and inventory planning, preferably in the retail/luxury industry
- SAP experience preferred
Skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong leadership with experience in people management and interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Power BI, Anaplan
- Great attention to detail
Experience Requirements
