Montblanc Customs Trade Compliance Manager

- Manage and oversee customs-related data across various systems, including origin, tariff classification, export control, and preferential calculation.
- Administer and monitor the processing of returns and communicate with authorities regarding approvals.
- Conduct analyses and coordinate troubleshooting related to workflows, origin documents, and preferences.
- Review free trade agreements and ensure accurate preferential calculations.
- Ensure compliance with all customs-related laws and regulations.
- Continuously develop, harmonize, and document work instructions across all workflows.
- Ensure accessibility, version control, and communication of process documentation to all relevant stakeholders.
- Lead integration efforts between customs-related systems to improve data consistency and automation.
- Manage necessary audits, approvals, simplifications, and certifications.
- Ensure sanction list checks of suppliers and customers are conducted.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customs Trade Compliance or Supply Chain Compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and customs regulations and standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and customs systems (GTS, AEB).
- Holistic thinking and ability to recognize interconnections.
- Data affinity for analysis and consolidation.
- Strong communication skills in English and German (minimum C1 level).
- Experience in project management.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Resilience and a solution-oriented, analytical, independent, and structured work approach.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Customs Trade Compliance or Supply Chain Compliance is required.
