- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans for precious metals, considering production forecasts, market trends, and inventory levels.
- Manage the entire procurement process from sourcing and negotiation to order placement and delivery.
- Optimize purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply chain effectiveness.
- Oversee the purchase of commodities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with the New Technologies Team to organize and manage the timely shipment of goods to various markets.
- Work closely with the customs department to ensure full compliance with all import/export regulations and resolve any compliance-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and customs teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the procurement and shipping processes.
- Stay informed about all relevant trade regulations and compliance requirements, proactively identifying and addressing potential compliance risks.
- Successful completion of a degree or equivalent professional experience in a comparable position.
- Proven professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably with experience in precious metals or regulated materials.
- Solid understanding of international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software/systems, such as SAP and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably with experience in precious metals or regulated materials.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
