- Oversee the commercial strategy for MH Whiskey brands in the assigned market, providing account sales support and brand education.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of whiskey brand strategy, marques, SKUs, and programs, ensuring alignment with brand teams.
- Communicate and present key whiskey programming internally, to distributors, and to the trade in collaboration with the Market Director and local sales team.
- Identify marketing and sales opportunities for whiskey brands, working with Spirits Field Marketing and local Market Director to implement strategies.
- Collaborate with brand ambassadors to ensure local execution of the commercial strategy.
- Conduct training and education for distributor teams, MH sales teams, and trade, including consumer-facing events, whiskey tastings, and master classes.
- Work with distributor teams to target and identify high-indexing whiskey accounts to execute commercial plans in key trade channels.
- Establish whiskey KPIs and sales priorities in the market in conjunction with the Market Director.
- Drive sales growth for a dedicated Target Account List (TAL), managing placements, display goals, cocktail listings, depletions, and velocity growth.
- Liaise with MH sales team and Distribution Sales Network to achieve whiskey KPIs in TAL.
- Provide input to the Commercial Enablement team on forecasting and operations regarding whiskey sales and inventory.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales and marketing within the wine and spirits industry.
- Strong relationship-building and customer-centric solution delivery.
- Deep knowledge of the MHUSA Whiskey portfolio and competitor/whiskey market.
- Understanding of consumer expectations within the geography.
- Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to sales pitches and strategy-setting.
- Highly effective influencing and partnering skills with strong sales techniques.
- Refined communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical ability with the capacity to interpret and apply syndicated data insights.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing within the wine and spirits industry.
Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required.
