Moët Hennessy Vineyard Experimentation Assistant

The vineyard division manages extensive holdings within distinguished Grand Cru sites and operates under the wines & spirits division of Moët Hennessy (part of the LVMH group). 1. Support the vineyard development team in the design and implementation of field experiments for the 2026–2027 campaign.
2. Set up trial plots and ensure correct implementation of protocols prior to the campaign start.
3. Perform regular in-season monitoring of trials (terroir studies, soil fertility, cover crops, soil decompaction, erosion, weed management, fungal solutions).
4. Collect, record and manage field data; perform statistical analyses and contribute to interpretation of results.
5. Draft clear technical reports and trial summaries, and propose practical improvements to viticultural practices.
6. Collaborate with the oenology team on the ‘Premium’ parcel-selection approach and support maturity monitoring (technological, phenolic, aromatic indicators).
7. Undertake frequent travel across the estate and support seasonal activities such as harvest preparations.

1. Enrolled in a final-cycle engineering programme, Master 2 or equivalent in agronomy/viticulture/wine science.
2. Basic knowledge of viticulture (disease pressure, soil maintenance, cover crops and vine husbandry).
3. Proven capability in data collection, statistical treatment and technical reporting.
4. Advanced use of MS Office and GIS tools (QGIS); familiarity with statistical software is an advantage.
5. Rigour, strong organisational skills, autonomy and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
6. Driving licence (Permis B) mandatory; willingness for frequent on-site travel.

Open to early-career candidates and students; first practical field experience in viticulture or experimental trials is a plus but not mandatory.

Student in final year of engineering school, Master 2 or equivalent in agronomy, viticulture, oenology or a related discipline.
