Moët Hennessy Sensory Analysis Assistant Engineer Intern

The Robert-Jean de Vogüe Research Development and Innovation Center, inaugurated in 2021, is dedicated to advancing applied research to address significant challenges in the vitiviniculture industry, such as climate change and sustainable practices.
- Form a panel of sensory experts to evaluate the influence of acidity, bitterness, and astringency on wine characteristics and balance.
- Conduct a literature review on sensory analysis methodologies applicable to the subject.
- Define and validate experimental protocols to meet project specifications.
- Propose a precise organization and timeline for the study.
- Develop a lexical glossary.
- Select wines from the product universe for analysis.
- Conduct training sessions to assess tasters' performance using descriptive and discriminative methods.
- Facilitate the internal panel, ensuring constant motivation and involvement of panelists.
- Analyze results and statistically process collected data.
- Draft reports and communicate findings.
- Master's degree or engineering school graduate with a specialization in sensory analysis, at Bac +5 level.
- First experience in organizing sensory analysis sessions and laboratory work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Fizz software (Biosystems).
- Interest in statistical tools for result analysis, ideally with experience using JMP® SAS Institute.
- Organizational skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Dynamic, rigorous, and a team player.
- Interest in the wines and spirits industry.
Entry-level experience in sensory analysis and laboratory work.
Master's degree or equivalent in food science or sensory analysis.
Internship for a duration of 6 months starting from March 2026. Based in Oiry within the Research Development and Innovation department of Moët Hennessy. A vehicle and driver's license are recommended.
