1. Prepare corporate income tax returns with support from tax firms, focusing on August and year-end to March timelines.
2. Prepare consumption tax returns and fixed asset tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
3. Manage tax audits and oversee transfer price documentation preparation from July to September.
4. Execute general ledger responsibilities, including journal entries, balance sheet preparation, reconciliation, variance analysis, and statutory reporting.
5. Ensure timely and accurate monthly account closings, identifying unusual transactions and movements.
6. Manage financial audits and audit report preparation, particularly from September to March.
7. Support ad hoc requirements and in-market change management communication as directed by the Regional Centre of Excellence.

1. University graduate with a degree in Finance or Accounting.
2. More than 5-7 years of experience in accounting within US or European multinational companies.
3. Strong background in accounting and tax, with experience in tax firms being advantageous.
4. Native or fluent level of Japanese and business-level English proficiency.

1. Proficiency in financial accounting (IFRS) and strong Excel skills.
2. Experience with SAP ECC and automation tools such as Excel macros, Power BI, or programming languages.
3. Strong communication skills across all levels of staff.
4. Integrity, results-driven, proactive, and self-starting attitude.
5. Ability to work independently and in multi-country teams remotely.

Candidates should possess more than 5-7 years of experience in accounting within US or European multinational companies, with a strong background in accounting and tax.

University graduate with a degree in Finance or Accounting.
