- Understand and align with the objectives of the ERICA campaign, ensuring thorough familiarity with its scope and requirements.
- Review and validate existing internal controls to assess their adequacy in addressing identified risks.
- Identify gaps and weaknesses in current controls through detailed analyses, including transaction reviews and segregation of duties.
- Design or enhance controls to address identified gaps, ensuring they are practical and effective.
- Implement and test controls in collaboration with operational teams, ensuring their proper functioning.
- Establish a continuous monitoring system to assess control effectiveness over time.
- Document findings and recommendations in clear, concise reports.
- Communicate results to management and stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of controls.
- Participate in staff training on new procedures or internal controls as necessary.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely and effective remediation of deficiencies.
- Lead continuous improvement and maintenance of Delegation of Authority principles, ensuring compliance.
- Ensure policies and procedures are formalized, implemented, and maintained according to group guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with Segregation of Duties principles and oversee critical training such as cybersecurity.
- Engage with business partners to provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new initiatives.
- Collaborate in the implementation of tools or business partners to ensure proper internal control.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese; French is a plus.
- At least 2 years' experience in a business analytical role; Big 4 experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and adaptable skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build successful relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to quality.
- Solid knowledge of internal control, risk management, governance, and business/financial processes.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection, organization, and interpretation.
- Good presentation skills for management communication.
- Ability to manage complexity and recommend practical solutions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
At least 2 years' experience in a business analytical role, with Big 4 experience being advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
