Moët Hennessy General Accounting Analyst

- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and hard close accounting journal entries and schedules, including standard entries, accruals, and deferrals.
- Conduct ongoing review of general ledger and accounting data, coordinating corrective actions and advising management of key issues.
- Assist with legal entity budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage lease accounting, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and distribute internal monthly overheads reporting for review.
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Support the implementation and training of system updates and process improvements.
- Prepare schedules for financial and internal control audits, ensuring compliance with internal control policies.
- Provide collaborative support and guidance to the Accounting and Finance teams, building cross-functional partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in the Wines and Spirits industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
