1. Assist the Global Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the APAC region to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
2. Support the implementation and monitoring of data protection and governance frameworks, including privacy policies and data breach management procedures.
3. Administrate the Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) review process, including tracking progress and assisting with risk assessments.
4. Organize and prepare materials for routine training sessions on data protection laws and regulations.
5. Handle customer data privacy inquiries and requests, coordinating with internal teams for data access and correction requests.
6. Conduct research on emerging data privacy laws and provide summaries to the Global DPO.
7. Assist with the annual review of data privacy and protection internal control processes.
8. Support privacy committee duties, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
9. Maintain quality assurance documentation for data protection laws and regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, Political Science, or a related discipline.
2. Strong interest in data privacy and protection.

1. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Beginner

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, Political Science, or a related discipline.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in data privacy compliance, develop insights into data privacy legislation across APAC, and enhance business acumen within a leading global organization.
