1. Assist the Global Data Privacy Officer (DPO) in the APAC region to monitor compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
2. Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s data protection and governance framework, including privacy policies and data breach management procedures.
3. Administrate the Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) review process for regulatory compliance.
4. Organize routine training sessions on data protection laws and regulations for specific business groups and new joiners.
5. Handle customer data privacy inquiries and requests, coordinating with internal teams on data access and deletion requests.
6. Conduct research on emerging data privacy laws and provide summaries to the Global DPO.
7. Assist with the annual review of data privacy and protection internal control processes.
8. Support privacy committee duties, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
9. Maintain quality assurance documentation to ensure accountability for data protection laws and regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master's degree in law, Political Science, or a related discipline.
2. Strong interest in data privacy and protection.
3. Familiarity with data privacy principles and regulations, such as GDPR, is a plus.

1. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Experience with data privacy compliance modules on OneTrust is a plus.

Beginner

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master's degree in law, Political Science, or a related discipline.
