Responsibilities
- Lead actual reporting and financial planning for the company and relevant business segments.
- Monitor performance versus plans and report to management and shareholders for timely decision-making.
- Monthly control of volume based on communication with counterparts.
- Analyze and comment on volume control to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Responsible for LE/BUD process on volume, including Topaz upload, in cooperation with the Demand Planning team.
- Ensure a reasonable fiscal year-end closing process on volume.
- Lead monthly report and communication with counterparts to meet reporting deadlines.
- Lead financial planning, consolidate forecasts from business segments.
- Monitor and analyze performance versus plans, identify risks and opportunities.
- Communicate closely with MHAP finance team and Diageo team for timely reporting submission.
- Lead monthly A&P reporting by communicating with marketing and commercial team.
- Build A&P forecast and monitor actual versus forecast to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure all A&P processes align with internal control and compliance.
- Continuously improve ways of working for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop, coach, and train two team members.
Qualifications
- University graduate with a Finance/Accounting degree.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English.
- Minimum knowledge of IFRS required, CPA is a plus.
- More than 7-10 years of experience, with at least 2+ years in a similar finance role in a large US or European multinational company.
- Work experience in one of the Big 4 audit firms is a plus.
- Experience in the implementation of integrated business systems is a plus.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
