Business Planning & Control Manager

1. Lead actual reporting and financial planning for the company and relevant business segments.
2. Monitor performance versus plans and report to management and shareholders for timely decision-making.
3. Monthly control of volume based on communication with counterparts.
4. Analyze and comment on volume control to stakeholders in a timely manner.
5. Responsible for LE/BUD process on volume, including Topaz upload, in cooperation with the Demand Planning team.
6. Ensure a reasonable fiscal year-end closing process on volume.
7. Lead monthly report and communication with counterparts to meet reporting deadlines.
8. Lead financial planning, consolidate forecasts from business segments.
9. Monitor and analyze performance versus plans, identify risks and opportunities.
10. Communicate closely with MHAP finance team and Diageo team for timely reporting submission.
11. Lead monthly A&P reporting by communicating with marketing and commercial team.
12. Build A&P forecast and monitor actual versus forecast to identify risks and opportunities.
13. Ensure all A&P processes align with internal control and compliance.
14. Continuously improve ways of working for effectiveness and efficiency.
15. Develop, coach, and train two team members.

1. University graduate with a Finance/Accounting degree.
2. Fluency in both Japanese and English.
3. Minimum knowledge of IFRS required, CPA is a plus.
4. More than 7-10 years of experience, with at least 2+ years in a similar finance role in a large US or European multinational company.
5. Work experience in one of the Big 4 audit firms is a plus.
6. Experience in the implementation of integrated business systems is a plus.
7. SAP knowledge is a plus.
