- Oversee the General Accounting function, including all legal-entity accounting.
- Review and approve entries, accruals, and deferrals for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Collaborate with the Reporting Manager to determine responsibilities and deadlines related to the month-end closing process.
- Supervise the Accounting Analyst in preparing and delivering monthly, quarterly, and hard close accounting processes and schedules.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis and supporting schedules as requested.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of general ledger and accounting data throughout each reporting period.
- Calculate budget and forecast General Accounting P&L and Balance Sheet items in coordination with the Reporting Manager.
- Responsible for lease accounting, including data inputs into the lease management system.
- Manage Federal, State, and Corporate tax calculations and filings.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of tax filing and recording to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Manage the implementation and training relevant to system updates and changes.
- Act as Accounting lead in planning and executing new product, process, and/or system launches.
- Prepare and present necessary schedules to satisfy Financial and Internal Control audit requirements.
- Partner with the Accounting and Reporting Director to develop and communicate vision and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Pursuing MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong leadership with a proven track record of developing talent.
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to set and adjust priorities with agility.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. Pursuing MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Competitive salary ranging from $92,000 to $115,000 annually.
