Miu Miu PR Assistant Manager

- Maximize effective media coverage in alignment with both headquarter and local communication strategies, including proposing ideas, approaching media outlets, negotiating with media and headquarters, managing product loans, proofreading, and creating coverage reports.
- Enhance brand awareness and improve brand image for both Miu Miu and Church's.
- Cultivate strong relationships with press, celebrities, influencers, and PR and event agencies.
- Oversee product sample management, including deliveries, inventory, and sample loans.
- Plan and execute press presentations, sample sales, and inventory counts.
- Prepare and distribute press materials in a timely manner to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor and report on PR exposures.
- Propose and execute local celebrity and influencer activations in line with global directions and local communication strategies, including digital content creation, product seeding, and event casting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant teams to support senior management in executing brand-driven image events.
- Support and collaborate with internal teams, PR team members, and temporary staff.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry
- Strong network of press contacts
- Proficiency in negotiating with media
- Ability to develop press-related materials
- Established network with celebrities/influencers and talent/casting agencies is advantageous
- Well-organized, positive, highly proactive, adaptable, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Creative thinking and ability to propose innovative ideas
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating complex situations confidently
- Strong fashion sensibility and understanding of brand aesthetics
- Exceptional communication and writing skills in Japanese
- Business-level English skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with global teams and headquarters
- Team-oriented mindset, capable of building strong relationships across functions and levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media tools
A minimum of 5 years in public relations, ideally within the fashion or luxury sector, with a strong network of press contacts and experience in media negotiation.
Bachelor’s degree
