Michael Kors Assistant Store Manager (Maternity Cover)

1. Co-lead store operations and support the Store Manager in meeting sales, margin, and operational targets.
2. Coach, motivate and develop the sales team to create a high-performing, accountable retail environment.
3. Drive sales on the floor by leading by example, managing client relationships and executing clienteling strategies.
4. Analyse performance reports and implement corrective action plans to exceed KPIs.
5. Manage and proactively maintain the client database and CRM-driven communications.
6. Coordinate and support local customer events and promotional activity to generate incremental revenue.
7. Maintain stock integrity through scheduled audits and bi-annual inventories; oversee merchandising and stock processes.
8. Use company communication platforms to cascade updates and ensure timely operational follow-through.

1. Proven retail management experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
2. Demonstrated leadership with the ability to recruit, train and develop retail teams.
3. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and effective follow-up.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using clienteling/CRM tools.
5. Sound understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to translate data into action.
6. Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven experience in retail with prior management or supervisory responsibility, ideally within a fashion or luxury environment. Demonstrable success driving teams to sales targets and managing day-to-day store operations.

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail management, business or a related discipline preferred.
