Quality Control Technician

Alexander McQueen is a luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. Since 2001, it has been part of the Kering Group and, as of December 2023, is under the creative direction of Seán McGirr. The brand is renowned for its uncompromising quality and creative vision, with a team of designers and an atelier based in London.

1. Monitor external suppliers dedicated to the production of evening dresses, corsets, outerwear, and formal trousers, ensuring the brand's quality standards are met.
2. Participate in collection presentations and Production Review meetings with merchandising, product development, internal technicians, purchasing, industrialization, sample pattern making, and production planning teams.
3. Report and proactively resolve technical and quality issues during production.
4. Ensure timely completion and accuracy of the first sample garment, approving fit, measurement, and fabrication.
5. Regularly visit workshops to verify compliance with quality standards.
6. Quickly resolve quality issues in collaboration with internal sample technicians and production pattern making.
7. Ensure workshop production aligns with the brand's delivery timelines.
8. Prepare quality reports to share with the production planning team.

1. Demonstrate the Key Behaviours required by Alexander McQueen.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, dealing with haute couture and first-line products.
3. Experience managing relationships with Italian suppliers.
4. Problem-solving skills.
5. Willingness to travel.
6. Proactive and flexible personality.
7. Preferably residing in central or northern Italy.
