Alexander McQueen Quality Control Technician
Alexander McQueen, a prestigious luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992, is renowned for its uncompromising quality and creative vision. - Monitor external suppliers involved in the production of fashion garments, ensuring adherence to the brand's quality standards, particularly for evening dresses, corsets, outerwear, and formal trousers.
- Participate in collection presentations and production review meetings alongside merchandising, product development, internal technicians, purchasing, industrialization, and production planning teams.
- Identify and proactively resolve technical and quality issues during production.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of the first sample garment, approving fit, measurement, and fabrication.
- Regularly visit workshops to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal sample technicians and production modeling to swiftly resolve quality issues.
- Ensure production aligns with the brand's delivery timelines.
- Draft quality reports to share with the production planning team.
- Demonstrated ability to embody Alexander McQueen's Key Behaviours.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly with haute couture and first-line products.
- Experience managing relationships with Italian suppliers.
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel
- Proactive and flexible attitude
