Alexander McQueen Purchasing Specialist (Embroidery)
Alexander McQueen, a distinguished name in luxury fashion, was established by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. - Manage the procurement of embroidery for both sample and production phases of Alexander McQueen apparel.
- Liaise closely with external suppliers and key internal departments such as Product Development, Pattern Making, Order Entry, and Production Planning.
- Gather information from the Design team regarding embroidery purchases and consult on supplier selection.
- Act as the primary contact for embroidery suppliers domestically and internationally, collecting data on costs, materials, and production timelines.
- Maintain and update the sample budget for embroidery.
- Oversee all stages of purchase order management for samples and production, from system data entry to cost information and order issuance.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to monitor production budgets and directly negotiate production costs with suppliers.
- Coordinate with other teams on planning, production purchases, and related reporting across all categories.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit Alexander McQueen's Key Behaviours.
- Significant experience in a similar role with a focus on embroidery.
- Knowledge of garment construction is advantageous.
- Excellent command of the English language.
