Alexander McQueen Outlets Merchandising Assistant

- Support and implement the global outlet stock and sales strategy to maximize outlet potential and margin opportunities.
- Proactively work towards achieving financial targets set by the business.
- Collaborate with regional outlet teams and stores to understand individual market product, operational, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure effective distribution of stock replenishment.
- Identify stock, pricing, and promotion opportunities with regions to drive assortment and distribution.
- Maintain weekly/monthly stock and sales reports and support ad hoc analytical documentation for the outlet network.
- Conduct store visits and regular sales and stock update meetings with outlets to track performance and discuss trade opportunities/risks.
- Participate in WSSI planning, including store and category monthly forecasting processes.
- Set allocation targets by category to ensure outlets receive stock required to achieve budgets.
- Understand long-term stock positions and suggest proactive steps to resolve issues, such as rebalancing, pricing, and promotions.
- Build and maintain a promotion and events calendar for the outlet network.
- Support outlet assortment planning.
- Engage in the excess stock clearance process for the outlet network, proposing surplus stock no longer required on a seasonal and ad hoc basis.
- Maintain stock and sales reports.
- Support team actions related to third parties on destocking activities.
- Demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviors.
- Sound analytical and planning skills.
- Strong capability in Microsoft Office, particularly in building and manipulating reports in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end merchandise lifecycle.
- Experience working with product and store assortments.
