- Build and manage footwear assortments to ensure the right product mix across styles, colours, and sizes.
- Conduct competitive market analysis and identify emerging trends to inform product development.
- Monitor sales data, sell-through rates, and customer insights to make data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Identify top-performing styles and optimize stock allocation to maximise profitability.
- Provide regular reporting on category performance, highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Work closely with design and product development teams to influence collections based on commercial needs.
- Partner with marketing teams to ensure product launches and storytelling align with brand vision.
- Liaise with production and supply chain teams to manage inventory flow and ensure timely deliveries.
- Support retail and e-commerce teams in curating compelling product selections.
- Collaborate with wholesale partners to tailor assortments to regional and account-specific needs.
- Participate in seasonal buying sessions and product presentations.
- Previous merchandising experience in luxury footwear brands.
- Demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales analysis, forecasting, and trend identification.
- Knowledge of the global sneaker and footwear market, including key players and consumer trends.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in merchandising software, Excel, and data analytics tools.
- Passion for luxury fashion and sneakers, with an eye for design and commercial appeal.
Previous experience in merchandising within luxury footwear brands is required.
