- Lead the finance department in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial matters to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders at Group level and the wider Finance community across all Group brands.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Lead monthly/quarterly financial forecasting, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure effective resource allocation to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Produce timely, accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide insights on financial performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reviews.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and growth.
- Optimize working capital and implement strategies to improve cash management and reduce financial risks.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors for timely and accurate audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set goals for continuous improvement.
- Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk management protocols are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standard.
- Demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.
- Proven track record of progressively responsible experience in financial management, including solid experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Previous experience in a listed or private Group with progressively responsible experience in financial management, including solid experience in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
