Marc Jacobs Store Manager

- Lead, coach and develop the store team through continuous training, tailored development plans and performance management to achieve individual and store objectives.
- Recruit, retain and organise talent; establish succession plans in partnership with HR and delegate responsibilities according to business needs.
- Translate strategic priorities and HQ directives into concrete store-level actions and measurable targets; monitor KPIs and sales performance.
- Act as the brand ambassador in-store, cultivating client relationships with VICs/VVICs and developing long-term client retention through proactive clienteling.
- Drive business growth by maximising sales across all product categories, leveraging visual merchandising, events, CRM and other HQ support.
- Plan and execute VIP client events and personalised service initiatives to enhance brand engagement and loyalty.
- Manage store operations including P&L oversight, controllable expenses, stock control, loss prevention and compliance with health & safety standards.
- Ensure operational standards and company policies are implemented; coordinate stock audits and cash handling procedures to minimise loss.
- Maintain market awareness of competitive and trend dynamics and feed local market insights back to country and HQ teams.
- Minimum five years' management experience in luxury retail, with proven ability to lead teams and meet KPIs.
- Established international clientele network and demonstrable experience managing VIP client relationships and events.
- Fluency in English and Italian (essential).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong relationship-building aptitude.
- Commercially minded with initiative, creativity and a strong sensitivity to fashion and trends.

Minimum 5 years of retail management experience in the luxury goods sector with a track record of driving sales, managing teams and cultivating VIP client relationships.
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in business, fashion, retail management or a related field preferred.
