Marc Jacobs Store Manager

- Provide continuous coaching and support to the team, identifying training needs and crafting tailored development plans.
- Identify, recruit, and develop talent, working with HR to secure succession plans.
- Organize the team efficiently according to business needs and delegate responsibilities.
- Translate strategic and business goals into concrete individual actions and objectives.
- Set ambitious yet attainable store targets and monitor performance to ensure these are met.
- Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere where creativity is welcomed and empowerment is standard practice.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, evaluation, motivation, and development of staff.
- Network with Marc Jacobs and LVMH colleagues to share best practices.
- Communicate strategic vision, targets, projects, and initiatives from HQ, ensuring the team consistently displays LVMH Values & Behaviors.
- Act as a Marc Jacobs Ambassador, sustaining and promoting the brand culture internally and externally.
- Lead and develop store success through informed business strategies engaging all relevant stakeholders.
- Champion and develop a customer-centric and service mindset in-store.
- Maximize the potential of all product categories, leveraging support from visual merchandising, training, clienteling, and events.
- Build a loyal clientele, leveraging clienteling tools from the CRM team.
- Establish a client-centric mindset to ensure the highest level of customer experience and achieve client retention objectives.
- Understand the business and local market to suggest actions and recommendations.
- Attract and recruit new clients from personal networks and external partners.
- Monitor store controllable expenses and partner with Finance on the review and action of the monthly P&L.
- Supervise loss asset protection and risk management.
- Control stock loss within the boutique budget and implement stock audits effectively.
- Ensure the team is fully trained and understands company systems related to point of sale and cash handling/stock loss control.
- Extensive management retail experience in the luxury goods sector.
- Existing international clientele network.
- Experience in managing VIP client events.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding sense of customer service, initiative, and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity.
- A passion for Marc Jacobs and its collections.
- Strong knowledge of fashion and trends.
- Keen interest in culture and art.
- Fluency in English (essential) and in a second language (preferred).
- Leadership and team management.
- Strategic planning and execution.
- Customer service excellence.
- Clienteling and relationship management.
- Financial acumen and P&L management.
- Operational management and compliance.
- Cultural and artistic awareness.
Minimum of 3 years of extensive management retail experience in the luxury goods sector.
