Marc Jacobs Business Analyst Intern

- Assist in monthly analysis by processing stock files, analyzing restocking opportunities, and consolidating data.
- Maintain and update commercial and inventory level reports.
- Complete and deepen analysis according to commercial and strategic priorities.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis of business results for different stakeholders.
- Prepare content for review meetings with the Business Planning Manager and FP&A Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of merchandising plans for specific product categories and stores.
- Support the team in planning and executing promotional activities.
- Assist in implementing price changes and markdowns.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure effective communication of merchandising strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Retail and Allocation teams to manage stock and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, including volume, revenue, variance analysis, and PnL.
- Participate in month-end closing reporting tasks.
- Manipulate and visualize large data sets using tools like Power BI and Microstrategy.
- Improve existing internal reports to enhance efficiency.
- Previous work experience in Finance or Commercial Data Analysis.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data.
- Enthusiasm and proactivity.
- Good organizational skills.
Beginner level experience in finance or commercial data analysis is required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
