Marc Jacobs Assistant Designer - Accessories

- Assist in the design process of leather goods under the supervision of the Director of Design.
- Conduct trend research and apply findings to product development.
- Develop color variations of sketches for design presentations.
- Assist in creating prototype mock-ups to visualize the final product.
- Organize and prepare samples for review.
- Take detailed notes for the design team.
- Maintain and organize archive samples.
- Adhere to the design calendar deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with other design team members.
- Understand the Marc Jacobs customer and brand positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art or Fashion
- Strong sketching ability
- Organizational skills
- Strong sense of color, fashion, product, and trend
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent taste level and brand awareness
0 – 2 years of design experience.

The compensation for this position ranges from $26.75 to $29.25 per hour, dependent on the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
