Product Development Manager
Make Up For Ever, a French brand founded in 1984 by Dany Sanz and part of the LVMH group since 1999, is a leading name in the luxury cosmetics industry. - Ensure the viability of cost, quality, and timeline for all projects within the portfolio, including launches and catalog modifications.
- Define development schedules for the assigned scope.
- Assess project feasibility with development experts, quality teams, and subcontractors, identifying risks and determining associated action plans.
- Coordinate development progress with subcontractors.
- Lead bi-monthly project review meetings with Development, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and LVMH Laboratory teams, proposing and challenging action plans.
- Share alerts and associated action plans with executive committees during weekly and monthly meetings.
- Coordinate financial milestones of projects, including COGS and GM targets.
- Act as the primary contact for Marketing within the assigned scope, forming a partnership with the Marketing Group Leader.
- Manage a junior project manager, overseeing their workload and supporting their development and reporting.
- Lead process and tool optimization projects in collaboration with the Product Development Project Manager of the other axis.
- Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent university degree in project management.
- 7 to 8 years of experience in new product development, including at least one experience in cosmetics and project management.
- Experience in coordination with subcontractors is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, and dynamism.
- Strong ability to unite and challenge teams.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Motivation to develop innovative, high-performance makeup products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional English (spoken and written).
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, with a focus on cosmetics and project management.
Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent university degree in project management.
Two days of onboarding to explore the company's artistry and differentiation strengths.
