1. Define import quantities and adjust transportation modes considering inventory status, product lifecycle, and demand.
2. Optimize delivery frequency and stock targets per SKU at each point of sale to achieve high presence rate while limiting stock coverage and lowering obsolescence.
3. Oversee the entire lifecycle of products, from monitoring the arrival and launch of new items to managing regular orders and updating logistics for established products.
4. Efficiently manage the phase-out process for products reaching the end of their lifecycle to minimize costs associated with unsold inventory.
5. Offer critical insights into performance metrics, including service levels, inventory health, and their financial implications on the profit and loss statement.
6. Develop and implement recommendations by collaborating with assigned Brand team and internal teams to enhance business outcomes.
7. Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain processes and systems.
8. Provide expert input to refine forecasting process in partnership with assigned Brand.
9. Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias.
10. Implement advanced forecasting techniques and tools to enhance predictive capabilities.
11. Lead comprehensive reviews with top management regularly to assess operational performance.
12. Ensure ERP/POS systems accurately reflect master data by SKU based on forecasts, supply, lifecycle, and stock.
13. Mentor and coach junior planners, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning and supply planning functions within a supply chain.

1. Advanced ability in demand planning and forecasting based on historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts.
2. Proficiency in defining optimal inventory levels to minimize stockouts while avoiding excess stock.
3. Extensive knowledge of coordinating with suppliers to manage lead times and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
4. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data from various sources and translate it into actionable insights.
5. Strategic mindset with the ability to make recommendations that align with business objectives.
6. Articulate communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
7. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through consistent, transparent communication.
8. Familiarity with ERP/POS systems including maintaining accurate master data.
9. Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining flexibility to adapt quickly as priorities shift.

5 - 7 years of proven experience in both demand planning and supply planning functions within a supply chain.
