- Lead the development and implementation of demand planning strategies to optimize sales forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to gather data and insights for accurate forecasting.
- Monitor sales trends and market dynamics to adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Manage the forecasting process for various product categories including novelties, basics, and promotional items.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align sales, marketing, and supply chain plans.
- Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings to review forecasts and develop action plans.
- Collaborate with supply planning and distribution teams to control inventory replenishment.
- Implement strategies to reduce obsolescence and improve inventory turnover.
- Contribute to the implementation of machine learning practices across all brands.
- Prepare and present regular reports on forecast performance and key metrics.
- Manage and mentor a team of demand planners, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the beauty or luxury industry.
- Proven track record of success in forecasting and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP systems, forecasting software, and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to present to top management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments.
A minimum of 5 years in demand planning, with a preference for experience in the beauty or luxury industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
