LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Accounting Intern

- Process and record supplier invoices, both with and without purchase order references.
- Assist in managing the shared mailbox for supplier correspondence and reconcile supplier statements.
- Follow up on the approval process for purchase invoices.
- Oversee the creation and modification of supplier records in compliance with group procedures.
- Forward and archive accounting documents related to the Luxembourg entity managed by an external accountant.
- Record bank statements and manage customer open items by reconciling payments with outstanding invoices.
- Assist in managing the shared mailbox for customer correspondence and send reminder emails to clients.
- Reconcile cash register reports and credit card payments with boutique sales reports.
- Update follow-up files for projects, databases, group reporting, and audit purposes.
- Assist in preparing audit files, including client, supplier, and bank confirmation letters, and downloading data from SAP.
- Scan and archive documents on the shared network drive.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
