- Conduct product analyses by applying laboratory methods.
- Organize workload to meet defined control deadlines.
- Interpret results and verify product specifications.
- Input results and make lot usage decisions in SAP.
- Participate in equipment management and reagent handling.
- Conduct re-tests, shelf-life extensions, and manage destruction requests for bulks, raw materials, and concentrates.
- Initiate investigations, create 5M analyses, and determine causes of non-conformities.
- Create deviations and derogations, and propose corrective action plans.
- Manage supplier complaints regarding raw material non-conformities.
- Create and review batch dossiers, and manage laboratory documentation.
- Oversee sample library for controlled lots and manufacturing.
- Coordinate external laboratory submissions for surveillance and additional analyses.
- Participate in staff training and certification for quality auto-controls.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and validate new analytical methods.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Colorimetry, Biochemistry).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cosmetics or food industry.
- Expertise in physico-chemical, organoleptic, colorimetric, and olfactory skills.
- Proficiency in technical English and SAP.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO 22716) is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to laboratory activities.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the cosmetics or food industry, with expertise in color analysis preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
