- Conduct product analyses by applying laboratory methods and organize work to meet defined control deadlines.
- Interpret results and verify product specifications.
- Input results and make decisions on lot usage within SAP.
- Participate in equipment management and manage reagents at the workstation.
- Perform re-controls, shelf-life extensions, and requests for destruction of bulk, raw materials, and concentrates.
- Initiate investigations, create 5M analyses, evaluate criticality, and determine causes of non-conformities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create deviations and derogations and propose curative, corrective, and improvement action plans.
- Manage supplier complaints in case of raw material non-conformities.
- Create and review batch records and participate in laboratory document management.
- Manage the sample library related to controlled lots and manufacturing.
- Oversee the renewal of samples (raw materials, bulk, finished powders).
- Handle shipments to external laboratories for surveillance plans and additional analyses.
- Participate in the training and qualification of manufacturing personnel for self-controls within the quality perimeter.
- Train and qualify new laboratory arrivals.
- Adhere to safety rules at the workstation and be knowledgeable about product-related hazards.
- Alert in case of incidents or near misses.
- Participate and lead actions defined in the service roadmap.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new analysis methods.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, colorimetry, or biochemistry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cosmetics or food industry preferred.
- Expertise in physico-chemical, organoleptic, colorimetric, and olfactory skills.
- Proficiency in technical English and SAP.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO 22716) is appreciated.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Adherence to laboratory procedures and methods.
- Understanding and application of safety and environmental guidelines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the cosmetics or food industry is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
