- Define and lead the global inventory management strategy in alignment with the company's financial and environmental objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for global inventory, including value, turnover, coverage, obsolescence, destruction, and returns.
- Develop and optimize reporting and inventory tracking tools utilizing Business Intelligence capabilities.
- Create impactful visualizations to enhance understanding and interpretation of data.
- Analyze risks and opportunities affecting inventory levels in the cosmetics market context.
- Propose a global inventory management policy in coordination with supply planning teams, defining target coverage levels.
- Develop and update a global inventory roadmap for a three-year horizon, integrating lifecycle management and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate inventory monitoring with Industrial Logistics Managers, Financial Control, and central and local Supply Chain teams.
- Manage inventory landings in accordance with P&L objectives, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Deploy and monitor the effectiveness of stock reduction actions, prioritizing initiatives that minimize waste and maximize product freshness.
- Incorporate quality dimensions into inventory management (shelf life, customer freshness requirements).
- Anticipate and manage inventory-related risks (returns, expiration, discontinuation, regulatory changes) by implementing risk mapping and preventive action plans.
- Coordinate stock clearance actions and product selection with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Monitor, alert, and challenge markets on the clearance of remaining limited edition products, minimizing waste.
- Propose solutions for clearing potential excess inventory and establish a commercial action plan co-led with international management.
- Identify global inventory surpluses requiring reverse logistics, considering the environmental impact of product disposal and seeking recycling or recovery solutions.
- Coordinate teams on continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing inventory.
- Participate in defining and implementing new tools and processes to enhance inventory management and optimize the Supply Chain.
- Engineering degree (Bac +5) or equivalent with a specialization in Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in financial functions (business analyst, financial control) with significant inventory management experience, ideally in the cosmetics or luxury goods industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices, including ABC analysis, safety stock optimization, and demand forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing stock reduction strategies, with the ability to measure action effectiveness and derive insights.
- Strong aptitude for using and developing Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis, dashboard creation, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
- Strong sensitivity to quality and sustainability issues in the luxury sector.
- Ability to work in project mode and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.

Minimum of 5 years in inventory management or related financial roles, preferably within the cosmetics or luxury goods industry.
