Louis Vuitton Visual Merchandising Director

- Coordinate with the Corporate office and local suppliers for window installations, ensuring Regional Visual Merchandising Managers are informed of all components.
- Ensure window product changes for each rotation are accurate and align with window guidelines by reviewing installation photos.
- Oversee preparation and implementation of store zoning and product rotations by Regional Visual Merchandising Managers and Store Visual Merchandising teams.
- Provide qualitative and photographic feedback to each Regional Visual Merchandising Manager after each rotation and share this with the Corporate Visual Merchandising team.
- Engage with Regional Visual Merchandising Managers, Team Leads, and Expert Advisors to ensure key products are selected and displayed effectively.
- Visit competitors to report best practices.
- Act as an ambassador and role model for visual merchandising across stores, demonstrating leadership and enthusiasm.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all product categories.
- Leverage visual merchandising as a proactive force to drive sales.
- Collaborate with Regional Merchandisers to ensure key bets, business drivers, and sell-through targets are considered and emphasized in visual merchandising.
- Plan and execute all Out of Network Events.
- Project manage visual merchandising activations for Zone events in partnership with the Corporate Visual Merchandising Director.
- Oversee all aspects of the work of Regional Visual Merchandising Managers.
- Supervise the implementation of visual merchandising concepts for in-store events.
- Identify employees with visual merchandising strengths within the regions.
- Train and facilitate orientation for new Regional Visual Merchandising Managers.
- Set visual expectations and proactively manage performance against these expectations.
- Coach, train, motivate, and develop visual team members to support strong succession planning.
- Communicate corporate category directives to the visual team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising principles and practices.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of 5 years in visual merchandising or a related field is required, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
