1. Assist in analyzing historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
2. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into demand planning.
3. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
4. Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend actions to minimize excess stock.
5. Coordinate with production teams to develop and maintain production schedules.
6. Ensure that production plans align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
7. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
8. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
9. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
10. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities.
11. Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
12. Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
13. Work closely with other departments, including Merchandising, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment of activities.
14. Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role such as sales planning or inventory planning.
2. Fluent business level of Japanese and English is required.
3. Candidates are required to submit their resumes in both Japanese and English.
