Louis Vuitton Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable

1. Ensure ongoing accuracy, reliability, and integrity of accounts receivable financial accounting.
2. Plan, organize, and control accounts receivable for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing under Group guidelines.
3. Conduct revenue recognition, collection, and reconciliation of accounts receivable and related accounting.
4. Report monthly sales, accounts receivable aging, cash forecasts, and perform management analysis.
5. Manage customer refund communications.
6. Oversee invoicing, including collection management and related accounting.
7. Handle annual closing tasks for accounts receivable, including financial closing and tax filing reporting.
8. Liaise with internal and external auditors and manage tax authority relations.
9. Maintain and manage payment methods, including credit card terminals and merchant accounts.
10. Interact with stores for revenue recognition, accounts receivable booking, collection, reconciliation, and customer refunds.
11. Investigate and resolve accounts receivable inquiries and issues.
12. Support financial projects, including new payment service provider implementation and store operation improvements.

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the retail industry.
2. Bookkeeping certificate grade 2 or equivalent qualification.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles and Japanese tax regulations related to accounts receivable.

1. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
2. Strong PC skills, including Word and Microsoft Teams.
3. Experience with SAP is advantageous.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts clearly.

A minimum of 3 years in accounts receivable, preferably within the retail sector, including experience with high-volume transactions and credit management.

Bookkeeping certificate grade 2 or equivalent qualification.
