Louis Vuitton Quality Engineer

- Ensure Louis Vuitton quality criteria are met throughout the production process for existing and new products.
- Analyze data and situations to formulate conclusions for problem-solving.
- Utilize problem-solving tools such as PDCA, PSM, and root cause analysis to develop solutions.
- Lead PDCA and PSM activities within the organization.
- Complete quality action plans in a timely manner.
- Manage daily quality reporting, including results, goals, and PDCA.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visual aids.
- Manage quality documentation and maintain accurate records as per LVUSM policy.
- Provide feedback and communicate pertinent information to the Leadership Team.
- Liaise with LVNA and LVUSM to resolve customer quality issues.
- Provide quality-related training and assist departments in using quality tools and processes.
- Support teams in inspecting materials and finished products to meet quality criteria.
- Communicate and support the implementation of new quality initiatives.
- Develop tools and masters for quality inspection to support all production phases.
- Act as a Louis Vuitton correspondent to improve subcontractor quality.
- Share best practices with other Louis Vuitton entities in Europe.
- Participate and lead improvement projects within the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Quality Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Quality Management.
- Knowledge of lean problem-solving processes, root cause analysis, and waste-reducing tools.
- Preferred experience in leather or garment manufacturing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality management and manufacturing processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Salary range of USD$80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities.
