Louis Vuitton Quality Control Specialist

- Supervise and support suppliers in the development and industrialization of new materials, ensuring compliance with Louis Vuitton standards.
- Plan and execute quality control activities with external suppliers, considering material and component specifics throughout production phases.
- Enhance suppliers' technical and managerial skills to strengthen the quality system.
- Ensure the quality of materials and components during production and delivery phases.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports with comments and illustrations.
- Ensure availability of all elements (masters, specifications, guides) for quality control of fabrics and components.
- Classify materials and components as first choice, rework, or scrap based on Louis Vuitton quality criteria.
- Define non-conformities of raw materials and support suppliers in applying corrective actions.
- Share product acceptance criteria with Quality, Purchasing, and Technical Offices, collaborating with headquarters for implementation with suppliers.
- Analyze customer returns in-store to manage corrective actions with raw material suppliers.
- Verify product realization process through quality audits, ensuring adherence to raw material quality systems.
- Control quality during production processes with process audits.
- Diploma or Degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a quality inspector in the relevant category
- Excellent knowledge of the English language; French language skills are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Comprehensive knowledge of various materials (fabrics, leather, fur, metallic components)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interface with various internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and abroad
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
