1. Supervise and support suppliers in the development and industrialization of new materials, ensuring compliance with Louis Vuitton standards to guarantee product durability and functionality.
2. Plan and execute quality control activities with external suppliers, considering the specificities of materials and components throughout all production phases.
3. Enhance suppliers' technical and managerial skills to strengthen the quality system.
4. Ensure the quality of materials and components during production and delivery phases, including detailed inspection reports with comments and illustrations.
5. Ensure all elements (masters, specifications, guides) are available for quality control of textiles and components.
6. Classify materials and components as first choice, rework, or scrap based on Louis Vuitton quality criteria.
7. Define non-conformities of raw materials and support external suppliers in applying corrective actions.
8. Share product acceptance criteria with Quality, Purchasing, and Technical departments and collaborate with headquarters for implementation with suppliers.
9. Analyze customer returns in-store to manage corrective actions with raw material suppliers.
10. Verify product realization processes through quality audits, ensuring compliance with raw material quality systems through control and calibration sessions.
11. Monitor production process quality through process audits.

1. Diploma or Degree
2. Over 8 years of experience as a quality inspector in the relevant category
3. Excellent command of English; French proficiency is a plus
4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
5. In-depth understanding of various materials (fabrics, leather, fur, metal components)
6. Analytical skills and ability to interface with various internal and external stakeholders
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and abroad
