1. Develop and implement supplier purchasing strategies for the materials sector, ensuring alignment with Louis Vuitton's purchasing policies.
2. Oversee the operational development of new materials, including industrialization and availability in workshops.
3. Lead active research and development of new materials, innovations, and suppliers in collaboration with design and marketing teams.
4. Manage a team of 10-15 individuals, including buyers, material development engineers, and quality managers, fostering a culture of excellence.
5. Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with other material sectors and departments.
6. Establish strong relationships with strategic supplier leaders to enhance development and support.
7. Serve as the primary liaison with design, marketing, product development, sourcing, quality, and production departments for material implementation.

1. Bachelor's degree equivalent to BAC+5 in engineering, business, or a related field, ideally with a specialization in purchasing.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing and development.

2. Proven leadership and management capabilities.
3. Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken; Italian is a plus.
